Dex Angels and choir

Shorter days and longer night comes,  cold and windy climate,  breezes the spirit of nativity.   A long waited time to decorate our living  room with  my little  Dex Angels  and choir , that they made  to bring the right atmosphere for this Holiday season.

It was then last February staying home for my recovery .. when I was looking at these empty saline bottles and its plastic wire holders ... just that what else to be of use with these bottles.... Have said

How many bottles of saline water that I've used ...
Not really something to be staying home for quite sometime waiting for time to get on my feet  aiming for a fast recovery.... but it is not an idle time,  it somehow gave  me a time to create new lovely things and  has inspired my hours of cure.   Well with all these bottles that surrounded me made my moments realistically fruitful.  One to include on  my juxtapose and collage projects http://lizarts-hobby.webs.com

" The fruit of the healing time" became to have  a personalized decor that also reminds me of something ... little angels for my cure.
Staying home not to catch virus or another sinus helped me name them Sinus Angels? no ! , Dex Angels, why dex? ,  yes 'coz its all these dextrose bottles .... well prefer to pronounce them as my Dex Angels ..

A very personalized gift  angel ornamented with actual sweet chocolate and coated white candies that brings sweetness for someone special ....
It may also be something special,  a souvenir gift  for christenings,  communion and confirmation give aways.

so....  "Why Dex Angels and a choir?"

Me & My Arty Lobby : You've got a friend in me

Me & My Arty Lobby : You've got a friend in me: "There isn't anything  I wouldn't do for you  We stick together,  we can see it through  Cause you've got a friend in ...

You've got a friend in me

"There isn't anything
I wouldn't do for you
We stick together,
we can see it through
Cause you've got a friend in me"

like this song of Randy Newman.  Clings into our ears,  to everyone almost all in kids to grown ups ..'coz...  there's something that reminds us with our childhood days.  An object that you clings to it and gives you the comfort of having around.

"Some other folks might be
A little bit smarter than I am
Bigger and stronger too ...Maybe
But non of them will ever love you the way I do
It's me and you.

And as the years go by
our friendship will never die.
You're gonna see..
It's our destiny,
YOU'VE GOT A FRIEND
IN ME.".

Yes its very true as days go by our likes and dislikes change but something is there to comfort us. Maybe different for men or for women but still that something comforts us in a way...

Befriended by its uniqueness and simplicity  got a  friend in me.  With its original art and style of individuality makes your senses complete.

A complimenting style,  that's how Agnesse and L'izarts comes hand in hand.

black & white heart spot individuality

Have a break have a manatee,   ....what's this yes after several works of handmade arts, came a friend visited me this time.  Sensed  its moving slowly not to be noticed as  her color coordinates with where she graciously walk... yes she got my attention for her artistically grace way ...  first time a sort of visitor in my place ..

Interested me with her particularity in between the arms a black and white spot, thought it was dirt but and what if you look closely its black color surrounds its white spot in  a heart shape!.  Quite particular for them and this make its individuality aside from her famous front arms clasp together by her chin...

So curious of knowing her and ways, got my camera and made my best shots . Macro shots , video how she can be if she'll that big......

Speaking of natural arts can well be defined by its individuality , like this mantis, attracted me of its hidden  spot in black and white spot , wherein looking closely at  its white spot centered outlined by black, a white  heart shaped that I may say symbolizes its being.  Believed that arts are inspired by something that can catch attention of its  natural object , and  distinctive particulars that would make its individuality ...the black & white heart spot .

EnFOLDS its beauty for elegance

EnFolds a never ending word that conceals its meaning.  To wrap and becomes  a medium to communicate.

With the word enfolds brings the meaning of fold and folding is packaging. A form of wrapping by packaging designs used as a tool for   a distinct presentation that enhance   and creates substantial  image for an introduction and concept

Diversifying the idea of folding paper conceals the  idea for package design  playing with on colors and prints that suits to  complete the product design.

Yes it is from the term origami folding, the art of folding makes the trick starts with one single paper , all in different shapes and symbols, can be folded from the same material.  The artist used her own style and trick to make something by folding.  It does not only for ornamented designs but to container package designs to combined the quality of taste by a product and enfolds its beauty for elegance. Thus makes a product with a complete look

" to communicate imaginately and with an eye for something that is proportionally beautiful"  packaging and presentation concept can give dimension to anything you want to impart.

Ferragosto

La Grotta di casa mia
"Ferragosto is a national holiday celebrated in Italy. It is held on the 15th of August. On  ferragosto, many Italians get the day off. People celebrate on the streets in many cities of Italy. In present days, Ferragosto is mainly a short holiday when Italians take brief vacations. The holiday often coincides with peak activity of the Perseid meteor shower, leaving Italians at a particular advantage to view the astral event seen best at pre-dawn hours. Originally, it may have related to a celebration of the middle of the summer andthe end of the hard labour in the fields. The Catholic Church celebrates this date as a Holy Day of Obligation to commemorate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary the real physical elevation of her sinless soul and incorrupt body into Heaven."

Of course nothing can beat the freshness of real flowers but we may beat the heat summer during this months.  The author selected some pieces from her collection of give aways and arranged all inside a transparent bottle to make Her a lasting bouquet ferragosto....

Maman touché

"There are many folklore tales and beliefs about willow trees. Some of the most prominent sources are Greek and Native American lore, and the Victorian-era “language of flowers,” and the willow, especially the weeping willow, has often been used as symbol in art.

The moon too recurs as a theme, the movement of water being intimately bound up with and affected by the moon. For example, Hecate the powerful Greek goddess of the moon and of willow, also taught sorcery and witchcraft, and was 'a mighty and formidable divinity of the Underworld'.   Associated with life, death and rebirth stretches back into ancient times."

As how the artist become to be the goddess of this dried willow tree had preserved and shown its beauty by wrapping  all its delicate branches with a white lace touche.  To give life, made from its dead life nature transformed into a work of art.  This dried willow tree from her garden, was preserved as how the artist believed  would enhance and to give a new look into her room for Christmas.

Like the ancient mummy’s technique art and the old Egyptian belief, was essential to ensure a safe passage to the after life has inspired the artist to give a new dimension to tree.

…A willow maman touché ,  mummy’s touch has inspired the artist the rebirth of its beauty, wrapped with passion of her fancy white elastic string to all its stem like a Pharaoh’s preserved beauty.

Thus , it shows the very meaning of our original touches "one kind of ambiance "
with our own living rooms

Papièrissimi

"(French forchewed-up paper' because of its appearance), sometimes called paper-maché, is a construction material that consists of pieces of paper, sometimes reinforced with textiles, stuck together using a wet paste."

"Contemporary sculpture is the art of conceiving a three-dimensional artwork . Thus, scores of sculptors spend years learning ancient sculpting techniques and learning to express their own artistic sculpture ideas and visions through wood, stone metal, and plaster. The process of sculpting is without doubt a long and complicated one. There are many steps involved in creating the final three dimensional figures that gets exhibited and displayed. There are higher learning programs that are devoted to teaching the art of sculpting. Nonetheless, many great sculptors are self-taught using the same and effective methods that the great sculptors throughout history used. "

The artist believed that the  paper mache technique can  go beyond its simple meaning  as “paper mache”  by combining its technique with  sculpting,  the art of handmade paper sculpting.  All by instinct imagination   deliberately she does  her art by hand.  Basically moulding  pieces of used paper materials together, combining  with  other materials mainly used  objects bottles , cans  etc...   fixing it with wet paste  layers  by layers of  paper ,  a tedious slow phase technique  attaining  its work,  then  cementing all together  with this  water based glue  , and finally with her  final touch of  a pastel painting and varnish, realizes her art into a masterpiece of work.

"Thus… “Papierissimi”  paper sculpting as an art form can now be  defined to be a class of fine art...

Being a sculptor with great sculpture ideas means becoming a part of that grand tradition..."
